A-E Uppercase

Welcome to the first step in your reading journey! In this lesson, you will learn all about the uppercase letters A, B, C, D, and E. Here's how these lessons will work: first, we will provide a short introduction; after that, we will provide several video links relating to the topics; and lastly, we will share the presentation slides we used and extra supplemental materials. Let's begin!

Learn to Recognize and Trace

In this lesson, your child will be introduced to the uppercase letters A, B, C, D, and E. They’ll learn how to recognize each letter by name and shape, and practice tracing them correctly. Tracing helps build motor skills and supports confident, clear handwriting. While you may use a pencil, we highly recommend using something easier such as a marker or highlighter.

Listen and Say the Sounds

Each letter makes its own sound, and this lesson will teach your child how to say the sound that goes with each letter. These sounds are the building blocks of reading, and saying them out loud helps students connect letters to spoken language.

Discover Words That Start with A-E

Your child will also explore new and familiar words that begin with each letter. We’ll use pictures and songs to connect each letter to everyday objects—like apple, dog, or elephant. This helps build vocabulary and makes learning more meaningful and fun.

Practice Makes Progress

Below, you will find the resources create by us! Firstly, there is a video that goes over all the concepts in a visual manner. Additionally, we have linked the presentation so that you can follow along and get the sufficient practice!
