BeginnerIdentify the letters P, Q, R, S, and T, trace each one, say their sounds aloud, and explore words that begin with them.
Welcome to the P–T Lesson!
In this lesson, we’ll explore the uppercase letters P, Q, R, S, and T. Each letter brings something new and exciting to the table. From learning how to write the letters to practicing the sounds they make and discovering words that begin with each one, everything you need is right here. Here's what we'll cover:
Get to Know the Letters
Your child will begin by recognizing the shape and sound of each uppercase letter—P, Q, R, S, and T. Through guided instruction and visuals, we’ll help them become confident in spotting, naming, and saying each letter in isolation and in everyday settings.
Tracing P-T
Additionally, in this lesson we will cover how to draw each letter from P-T while also reinforcing each letter through extra practice sprinkled in throughout the lesson.
Words That Begin with P-T
We’ll introduce a set of words that start with each letter. These will be familiar and new vocabulary alike—such as pencil, queen, rain, sun, and train. Seeing how letters appear in real words helps your child connect letters to language and meaning.
Let's Practice Together
To wrap things up, your child can go through the custom slides and videos we've included. These reinforce what was covered in the lesson—no need to go searching for more. Take your time, revisit sections if needed, and enjoy the learning process!
